What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your very first appointment with us isn’t rushed, it’s a thorough 90–120 minute visit designed to give me a complete picture of your oral health. During this time, I’ll carefully evaluate your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and bite alignment. We may take x-rays, diagnostic photos, or create models of your teeth. This creates your personal “baseline” for oral health and helps us design the best care plan together.
Many new patients share that they’ve avoided the dentist for years because of fear or difficult past experiences. Please know, at Steely Dental, you’ll always be met with empathy and understanding. You’ll never be judged, only supported.
A Conversation, Not Just an Exam
I believe dentistry should start with listening. Before I ever begin treatment, I sit down with you to talk about your goals. Do you want to chew more comfortably? Improve your bite? Brighten your smile? Whatever your dreams are for your health and confidence, we’ll walk through it together.
After your exam, we’ll meet again for a relaxed consultation where I’ll review your results, photos, and treatment options. You’ll receive a clear step-by-step plan designed specifically for you, whether that means restoring health, enhancing your smile, or addressing issues like TMJ or airway concerns. And you’ll always have costs outlined clearly in advance, no surprises.
